Azienda Agricola Il Poggio di Gavi. Owned by the Poggio family since 1919, the farm has been passed down from mother to daughter, along with the passion and care for the protection of those characteristics that distinguish the unique territory and wines of Gavi.
The azienda was born from a simple pastime - the old farmhouse and its forests were used as a hunting ground - and became a passion and work for the family. In the 1970s Francesca Poggio, with the help of enologist Gaspare Buscemi, left Milan to turn the small house and estate into a wine producing, cozy azienda and where visitors and guests can surround themselves with the lush forests and precious vineyards.
The limited production of the wines allows for great attention to detail in all aspects of the creation, from the vineyard to the bottle.
