The Valdarno area has been a source for traditional Sangiovese production for centuries. Located between Castellina in Chianti and Ruffina, to the Southeast of Florence, Chianti Valdarno is a lesser known area from which elegant and refined wines are emerging onto the market. Il Grifo Chianti Riserva has been hand crafted exclusively for Enoclassica from the best Sangiovese plots and aged in traditional large oak barrels.
