La Ganghija was founded in 2004 when young winemaker Enzo Rapalino followed his passion and love of wine to fruition to the slopes of the area of Barbaresco. After training in the family business and then studying at the Oenology School of Alba, Enzo decided to take his hand and eye for quality wine to his own winery and practice generation old techniques from the Rapalino family of winemakers along with his modern advances to create the best quality wine from the land with the most potential. His land holdings have grown to 15 acres and his production covers land that touches Treiso, Alba and Madonna di Como.
