Tenute Ferrocinto

Located at the foot of Massiccio del Pollino, the 123 hectares of vineyards from Tenute Ferrocinto date back to 1855 and have been in the family, lovingly cared for since then.  The clay and limestone rich soils have a particularly high level of potassium and exposure to the sun, giving the grapes an intense aroma and complexity which translates into the wines produced thereof.

The cellar and winemaking techniques are divided into two levels:  a more modern and innovative fermentation with advanced techniques such as pressing of the grapes in an inert environment, and a more traditional level where the wine maturing and holding occurs in authentic, old botte with the ever watchful eye of the winemaker.
