The farm of Feudo Apiano extends over about 12 hectares, 6 of which are planted in vineyards of Fiano and Aglianico, nestled in the area of Lapine and Taurasi. The land on which the vineyards are planted is a gentle sloping mountain base, at about 500 meters elevation, and has a microclimate characterized by hot summers and cold winters with excellent ventilation. The cool autumn leads to a slow final ripening of the grapes, procuring an exceptional development of aromas and character in the resulting wines.
In the belief that wine, art and poetry are the three languages of dialogue, Feudo Apiano decdied to showcase the works of young Lapine artists on the labels of their wines. The label on the Fiano di Avellino is by Leondina Sabatino.
